Cold Winter Snow

It's not always sunshine and lollipops!  It was more like popsicles and slushies this day!  Here's just one of many different outtakes from the 10 minute session with my kids!

No worries.  She survived!  And, much to her surprise she still has hands too, they didn't fall off!

Fresh Winter Snow

We live in Michigan.  It's a fact of our lives.  We waited a long time to get snow this year, in fact, in January we still had some REALLY nice days.  Like, play-outside-without-a-coat, warm!  I kind of liked that.  But, like I said, it's Michigan.  So, then, obviously, we got a foot or more of snow.  And then it went away, and then we got more.  All in 5ish days.  Yes, Michigan!

The snow was absolutely beautiful this weekend, it stuck to the trees so nice, it wasn't slushy!  It was the "perfect" snow!  Yup.  Perfect!

So of course, I had to drag the kids out to take a few pictures.  After going sledding for an hour.  But it just HAD to be done!

They weren't all that happy with me.  Oh well.  That's life!

A fresh new look for 2012!

So excited to start the blog over and give the website a fresh re-do!  Lot's of fresh new changes, including a new logo with new colors!  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Here are a couple of fun pictures that I took just after Thanksgiving for a great, fun family!

 Lot's of eyes were close, but I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture!  It was bright and they were all supposed to close their eyes until I said three, then everyone was going to open them, well, obviously I started shooting before three... and I adore what I captured!

Everyone in this family plays soccer, so what better spot to take pictures than at the soccer fields?  And, let's just say that heading somewhere fun took the dread out of picture time for a few of them!
